When you hear people talking about paradise, they may just be talking about Isla Mujeres, Mexico, and the Avalon Reef Resort. Throughout our stay, we found the people extremely friendly, the prices in the village were excellent, the staff and food at the Avalon Reef was superb. The Avalon Reef is actually on an island of its own. You travel across a wooden bridge to get to the resort and the great beaches. The beach is one of the best beaches in the world. Don't take our word for it, go discover paradise for yourself. Book us for your Honeymoon or Wedding.

Dinning is great at the Avalon Reef. Here we have Christie, at one of the two restaurants available. All guests that have the all inclusive plan can eat all day at the buffet, and all your drinks are free. In the first picture, Christiee is waiting for the evening meal which is served in a first class restaurant (not a buffet), but reservations are required.  The meals were great, and and don't forget if your stay is all inclusive, there is no direct cost to eat or drink. The buffet (second image) was clean and had a good combination of food. Our last picture here is the wait-staff, Chef, and Matradee from the Mi Casa es Su Casa Restaurant. A first class staff, and a first class restaurant at the resort.

Did anyone say, S..H...O...P...P...I...N...G.!!!  In the village, on Isla Mujeres, shopping is an experience that will NOT cost you your life savings. The best bargains anywhere around. The prices here beat Cancun prices hands down. You will have more to choose from than you can carry. It's only a short walk from  Avalon Reef. If you don't want to walk, rent a gas powered golf cart, or a moped. Getting around the island is easy and fun. Always expect the unexpected, and enjoy the wonderful people of Isla Mujeres.

Looking for something to do. Try swimming with the dolphins. You can swim with the dolphins, or sharks, at Dolphin Discovery. Here's Christie again, petting the dolphin. I wonder if Aaron is over playing with the sharks. It's a short ride away by golf cart or moped. There are diving trips run by the Dolphin Discovery group, so you can have water fun all day. There is a full day of fun at Dolphin Discovery. Christie and Aaron are the loving couple that had us film, both still and video, their time on Isla Mujeres, including in and under the water.

Did some say snorkeling and fish? You bet. Some of the best snorkeling in the world, that's right in the world, is located 75 feet from the Avalon Reef Resort and your room. Yes, that is a sea tortoise. You'll find sting rays and beautiful tropical fish just a short walk from your room.

End your day with a massage, and sip on your drinks as you watch the sunset. After the sun goes down, dine on the beach with the one you love.

When the sun goes down, then what do you do? Your kidding, right? It's party time. The night life is available, though not as much as on Cancun. However, you can party the night away as much as you care to, and it will not take all your money.
